MOTORBASS When we started in 2002 the idea was to offer a wide range of stringed instruments. We took the first step and introduced a couple of memorable guitar models, and finally moved the focus towards introducing our first bass guitars. At the time however, we were faced with production delays, so in order not to make our guitar line suffer we settled on producing a very limited number of basses. The persisting delays caused us to rethink our strategy and after much deliberation we decided to pull the plug on the bass line. Our basses never went into full production and are the rarest Malden models you will ever see. They were made in accordance of our strictest quality standards. We thought our stock was depleted, until we discovered a few boxes which contained our bass gems, Despot and Motorbass models. These are the first quality professional instruments and we urge you to take this opportunity to own one of the last remaining Motorbass basses, because this time when they are gone, it will be for good.
